November

Shona Young, Junior Princess, Bethel #29

Shona was asked to learn the Chaplain’s part for the Area Wide Initiation Ceremony on October 22nd at the Scottish Rite Fall Reunion in Kansas City, as there was no one that was available to take that position.  Shona has never been Chaplain, yet she learned the entire Initiation part, Pledge of Secrecy for Adults, and Closing Prayer.  Shona tried very hard to get everything memorized and did almost all of her work word perfect.  She did a wonderful job, not only representing Bethel #29, but Missouri Job’s Daughters.

Bri Little, Chaplain, Bethel #4

Bri was given the honor of 1st chair Clarinet in Symphonic Band at Francis Howell Central HS.  Bri has only been a member of Job’s Daughters since May, but jumped right in and has been a fantastic Chaplain.  Bri was the signer of Kyra Barillier’s petition and was so excited about her being initiated that even though she had laryngitis, she made sure she attended and served as the Chaplain during the Initiation Ceremony for Bri.

Carolyn Kirchoff, PHQ, Recorder, Bethel #4

Carolyn is an official college student at the age of 17.  Carolyn is always a great help to Bethel #4 and even though she is taking college courses now she attends Bethel #4 as much as possible.

Courtney Stockton, PHQ, HQ Protem, Bethel #4

Courtney received the honor of 1st chair Tuba in Symphonic Bad at Francis Howell Central HS.  This is Courtney’s 2nd term as HQ and she always makes sure she has plenty of time for her school work, band and Job’s Daughters.

Elizabeth Naucke, Choir, Librarian Pro tem, Bethel #4

At Elizabeth’s first official meeting, she not only was pro tem Librarian, but she also helped out with initiation by serving as pro tem Inner Guard.  Elizabeth was just initiated in September, but is already trying to help the Bethel grow by talking it up to all her friends!

Kyra Barillier, Choir, Bethel #4

Even before Kyra was an official member of Bethel #4, she helped make Halloween decoration and dinner for Ronald McDonald House.  Kyra was just initiated in October but has already signed a petition for her little sister and is working on a couple more petitions.

Michaela Davis, J2B, Bethel #4

Michaela helped make Halloween decoration and dinner for Ronald McDonald House.  While at the house, Michaela made a new friend with one of the girls living there.  Come to find out, the girl’s name was also Michaela!  Michaela has become a shining light at Bethel #4 Jobie-to-Bee Meetings.

Jessi DeClue, Honored Queen; Samii Hass, Senior Princess; Kelly Weber, Guide;
Lydie Drake, Chaplain; Melanie Brucker, Inner Guard; Lauren Hartman, Messenger; Bethel #5

Jessi’s charity for her term is Nurses for Newborns.  She wanted to give something more than a cash donation so, with the help of the girls from Bethel #5, she planned a “Baby Shower,” where they played games, had refreshments, and “gifts” from the guests were opened.  There was a very big donation of baby items made to her charity, thanks to the Baby Shower event and the help from all the members.

She is an outstanding Jobie sister to all members.

Britanny Hall, 2nd Messenger, Bethel #47

Brittany works very hard at all Bethel activities and always has a smile on her face. She is a good role model for our younger members. Her enthusiasm is contagious!

January

Lyla Hunt, Jr. Custodian, Bethel #47

Lyla is an "Everyday Superhero" because even before she was initiated she wanted to participate in every Bethel activity she could to the fullest. She even had us make her a poodle skirt and sat with the council at the Junior Miss Reception. Although she was initiated in the middle of the term, she wanted to be installed into an office. She has also signed several petitions!

Kiley Whitton, PHQ, 3rd Messenger, Bethel #7

Kiley has stepped up and pro-temmed as several officers this term and has been involved in all of our efforts to gain new membership, all the while being very involved in school and DECA. She is a joy to have as a Jobie Sister and truly exemplifies the lessons of Job's Daughters.

Aleena Duncan, PHQ, 2nd Messenger, Bethel #7

Aleena has served not only as 2nd Messenger but has taken the duties of Marshal and Guide for our meetings. She has excelled in her class and is fun to be around. We love having her in our Bethel, she is an extraordinary young lady!

Caitlyn Washington, PHQ, Recorder, Bethel #43

Caitlyn is a Senior at NHS and maintains a 4.7 GPA. She is a McDonald's crew member and is serving as Missouri DeMolay State Associate Sweetheart, but promotes Job's Daughters as she travels to DeMolay events. The special thing about Caitlyn is she shares her talents with others. She has volunteered at the annual St. Clare Hospital Auxiliary Trivia nights and during the holidays, she sang at the Memorial and Tree Lighting program at the Hospital. She is always willing to go the extra mile for the HIKE program and a great Big Sister to younger members of the Bethel.

Brooklyn Childs, Guide, Bethel #12

Brooklyn has unselfishly given her all to help her Bethel. In addition to being Guide, she pro-tems as Chaplain and any other office when asked to fill in and does an outstanding job. She is anxious to pro-tem as Honored Queen as we do not have an Honored Queen or Senior Princess this term. She has made all phone calls, helped the other members with their work, and makes sure the Bethel is set up and taken down in an orderly, correct manner. In addition, she is an officer for SLALOC and continues to travel and visit other Bethels as much as possible.

Celina Hawker, Junior Custodian, Bethel #49

Celina was initiated on October 10, 2011. By the end of that month, she had the marches memorized and knew the words to all of the Bethel songs by heart. She continues to study her Ritual and has been initiated as Junior Custodian this term.

Amy Bush, PHQ, Outer Guard, Bethel #49

Amy served as Librarian last term even though she was away at college in Cape Girardeau. She fulfilled her duties by seeing that a Librarian's Report was presented at each meeting. We had a guitar duet, a baritone saxophone solo, an essay from Grand Session competition read, our Honored Queen's Missouri Church Service interpretation read, a piano solo, and a poem honoring Dads. Not all your usual Librarian's Reports!
