Hi Shauna,

My name is Aimee Pedersen and I am a PHQ of Bethel #24. I am also a teacher at Center Middle School where your dad is a teacher. I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Aimee Pedersen

Hello Shauna,

My name is Elizabeth I am a PHQ and currently the 5th messenger of my Bethel #97 in California. I was just looking around the supreme website, and heard about what happened. Things are tough, but know that you have your friends, family, and your Masonic family here for you. I have never met you, but I feel as if we have been friends for a long time. There are so many people care about you and prayer for you. There are millions of people trying to make a difference in the lives of many researching about these things. In fact my dad does children cancer research for a living. He loves his work and is very dedicated to it. Just last month myself and some of my Jobie sisters did a walk for a breast cancer foundation. When the day gets a little to tough just think of all the wonderful people that are in your life, and how great of a person you are. You are a Job’s Daughter and a very special girl.

Angels exist, only sometimes they haven't got wings and we call them friends; you are one of them.

In my prayers and thoughts,
Elizabeth, PHQ and 5th messenger, Bethel #97, California

To- Missouri Job's daughters and adults!

I want to thank everyone and anyone who contributed to the silent auction! That was an extremely nice thing to do and I appreciate it very much! My family and I are so grateful for all the support we have received in the last 5 months. I don't think I could have gotten through this without you all. You have raised an amazing amount of money for my treatment bills and that truly makes me feel at ease. I would like to thank the Flanery Family for everything they have done and thank you so much Andie, for stepping in when I could not be there. And to my own Bethel you are amazing and I am so proud of all of you. I would like to invite everyone to our Bethel's (Bethel 29) Installation, on December 16th at 2:30 in Independence. Once again thank you so much, I can not express in words how I feel. Love you all!

Job's Daughter hugs and kisses,
Shauna Bauml- HQ #29

With love from your Jobie Sisters in Bethel #1, Douglas, Wyoming.

Hi Shauna,

We wanted to write and tell you what an amazing job you did presiding last Tuesday for practice and on Saturday. It made 29's official visit more special with you there to take part and be their HQ. You looked terrific, your ritual was outstanding and the news you shared -- fantastic. Keep fighting ... only two more treatments.  If you ever need us... you know we are here for you and just a phone call away..

Job's Daughters -- world-wide -- continue the prayers for you. Keep smiling!

You're in our hearts,
Dad Dennis, Mom Sandy & Andie

Shauna:

This is from both Dad Vezeau and I. Congratulations on the GREAT NEWS you announced at your Official Visit. All the Get Well and Prayers that were sent to you have been answered. You did an AWESOME job presiding. You are over one big hurdle and that is wonderful.

Mom Vezeau

Dear Shauna,

I was so very glad to hear of your progress in battling your cancer. I understand you "blew" everyone away with your work as HQ at your official visit on Saturday. We'll continue to keep you in our prayers. We know they work.

Love & blessings,
Mom Frakes

Shauna update:

We were blessed to have Shauna in the East at our meeting on 9/26. It was a practice meeting for Official Visit on 9/30. Her Cancer Dr's have reported that she is responding remarkably well to the chemo. It appears it has cleared in her neck area and clearing in the chest. Things are really looking up. Keep the thoughts and prayers coming.

Dear Shauna,

There’s a lot of talk about angels these days and about all the things people say they can do. It’s not always easy to know what to believe, but it certainly would be nice to have a few angels in our lives. I picture them as being near us day and night and especially whenever life seems trying and difficult. I like to think that angels are taking special care of you right now, and I hope you can feel their gentle presence day by day…just as I hope you feel the nearness of all the loving thoughts of those of us who care so much about you. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Love you,
Mom Julia Wallace

Shauna,

I was reading the note my wife put on The Supreme Web page about one of the daughters from our Bethel in York,Pa, Emily McCleary she was diagnosed with leukemia in June and I saw the note about you. The prayers from all of the daughters and adults of JDI have helped Emily and her family and l'm sure they are also helping you. Be strong and you can beat your illness, never give up hope and you will survive. May God bless you and your family.

Shauna AND family,

I always enjoy reading the MO web site. It is SO cool and is so full of information.

I am so very sorry to hear that you are having this illness. I can only imagine what you and your family are going through. HOWEVER, please know that the Job's Daughters' World has you in their prayers and thoughts. Have the patience and keep the faith!

Best wishes & many prayers for a speedy and complete recovery. My experience began November, 1996, when David Wilson was first diagnosed. He has battled courageously since then & his attitude always helped him. When faced with the many questions, he told people it was an "inconvenience." His family supported him and continues to support him today to fight cancer and it's side effects. The photo he posted is typical of his involvement with our daughter, Susan Wilson Broome and our grandchildren, Addison and Sophie. Be positive, have a good attitude & ask lots of questions of the experts. Your family & friends will be a great support system for you!

Shauna,

Just a short note to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Always remember the trials of Job and his triumph over the adversary.

Shauna,

We're all pulling for you here at Bethel #47, Mehlville, MO. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time in your life. We know that with the great spirit and courage that you and everyone around you has, you will come through this trial with a great reward and flying colors. If you need Jobie sisters or Jobie parents to help you out or just be there to hold your hand, we're just a call or e-mail away. Be strong.

Love,
Members & Council of Bethel #47, Mehlville, MO

Shauna,

I'm sure we have not met, but have many friends in common, and certainly one enemy. I am the proud father of a PHQ from Bethel #24 and I'm the PABG from 24.

Ten years ago I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma, well here I am 10 years later writing you a message. That message is: you will learn so much, have some pain, meet new friends and your life will be forever changed - mostly for the better. Please remain positive, the advances in the treatment of Hodgkin's has made it a very - very treatable cancer, and many of the new treatments are so targeted that you won't have many of the problems of the past.

Here is a picture of us today at the Susan Komen 5 K in KC.

Shauna,

My name is Mom Linda Kennedy and I am from Bethel 11 in Chesapeake, Virginia. I just wanted you to know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. I was thinking that a few little riddles may cheer you up. See if you know the answers to the following:

What kind of suits do Lawyers wear?
Lawsuits

What kind of clock is crazy?
A Cuckoo Clock

Where is the ocean the deepest?
At the bottom

What bird never goes to a Barber?
A bald eagle

Hope they worked. Take care and I'll send you some more riddles in a few days. I know you can't wait!!!

Shauna,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this tough time. I know the Lord will take good care of all of you. Just remember during the hard times that the Lord has you in His arms and will give you His strength. I have a favorite Bible verse that says that the "...Lord will give you His peace, which is far greater than the human mind can understand. It will give your head and heart quiet and rest as you trust in Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:4-7 Whenever you are really down, just ask Him for His peace.

All of your Job's Daughters sisters and friends are here for you too, willing to do whatever you or your family need. Just ask.

Dad Bruce Petersen, PABG, PGBAG

Dear Shauna,

I am so sorry that at your tender age you have to face what you are going through. As so many of the others have said, God will be with you, and what better teacher than Job. My niece is participating in a tri-athalon in September to raise funds for lymphoma research and my donation to her is in your name and my step-daughter's. You, and your family will remain in our hearts and prayers.

Written with a pen, sealed with a kiss,
If you are my friend, please answer me this:
Are we friends, or are we not?
You told me once, but i forgot.
So tell me now, and tell me true,
So i can say I’m here for you
Of all the friends I’ve ever met,
You're the one I won’t forget
And if I die before you do,
I'll go to heaven and wait for you,
I'll give the angels back their wings
and risk the loss of everything
There isn't a thing I wouldn’t do
To have a friend just like you.

Shauna I'm here for you no matter what
I'm here to be your friend even a sister
I love you
I hope you come through this strong
Keep smiling
Beauitful

My thoughts and prayers have been with you during this time of trial. My step-sister was diagnosed with Hodgkin's several years ago so. Just rely on God, your family and friends…and know that we are all here for you. We look forward to seeing your happy, bubbly self around when you can make it!!

Much love,

Shauna Darling....

As a very wise PGBHQ said just a few notes down, remember what we practice 2 Tuesdays out of the month. Remember the endurance of Job. And when times get tough, think of all the times we have shared and the billions of times you and your friends have just laughed and laughed. Remember the picture of you and Hannah and me pretending to be Samara, the girl from the Ring? That was soo funny.Did you know I carry a picture of you in my wallet and I show it to everyone I know ? I tell them "this is a picture of a true testament to our organization" Remember what you wrote on the back? That gets me through the day. :) I love you and soooooooo many people do. You are never alone, ever. Keep your strength and I will be by your side every step.  I love you.

Shauna,

We are all praying for you. Keep your head up and your spirits high and God will see you through. Remember, Job was tested and while his body was weak, his mind and his love for God was strong. We pray for a quick recovery, we know you can beat this!!
