I would like to say “Happy Veterans Day” to my wonderful husband Craig who is currently in the Air Force as most of you know already. I am so proud of you and all you do for the Air Force.

God Bless you all.

This note comes from Mom Pam Buffalow, BG #48, regarding some schedule changes:

Just a few scheduling changes for Bethel 48 in the next few months. We will have our next meeting on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. if you would like to come visit. We have two new girls that have girl scouts on Monday nights so we are going to try something different. We will also be having our Thanksgiving Lunch after our meeting.

So the first Monday of every month we will be having a regular meeting and the 2nd Saturday will be our second meeting of the month.

Our Installation of Officers will be December 19, 2009, 2:00 p.m. with refreshments to follow. There will be a flyer out soon with a few more details.

Bethel #48 will be dark after our Installation on December 19th, until our second meeting in January.  I will be posting the dates of our meetings in the next week or so.

I cannot thank those of you who have helped Bethel #48 with new and interesting ideas to try. As we are small in numbers I would like to take this opportunity to invite Bethels to come and protem at our meetings I know the girls would appreciate it very much. Our girls will be visiting more and proteming as needed at other Bethels. We all need to work together and show these girls what true sisterhood is. We need to teach them that it means supporting each other in times of joy and growing pains and trials we go through everyday.

Again, thank you so much to those who have come to protem or just giving words of encouragement to the girls. To the girls of Bethel 48 and the Council, you are all awesome and I could not ask for a better group of individuals to work with and be associated with. Hang in there we are going to be okay! With Patience and Faith we will see the Reward for our efforts! :)
