January, 2010 Posted Sunday, 1/31/2010 (12:30 p.m.): This note comes from Caitlyn Washington, Grand Representatives Co-Chairwoman, regarding Rep Reports: Dear Grand Reps, Hi again girls! If you did not see the post that was put on the website, this is a follow up. I hope that you all have been communicating with your jurisdiction and have gotten a lot of information about them. You should probably send out another letter around Valentine’s Day if you have not sent one already. Remember, in order to be eligible for a Grand Representative position next year, you MUST send in a report of what you have learned this year. Your report will need to be turned in by the end of May. Another note will be sent out around March or April with the addresses you will need to send your reports to. A few girls with good reports will be selected to read it aloud at Grand Session to share. I hope you all have been keeping up with your jurisdiction and have learned a lot.

Thanks so much, Posted Friday, 1/22/2010 (12:55 p.m.): This note comes from Miss Kim Underwood, Grand Guide, regarding awards: Thank you to all the Honored Queens who turned in their Spirit Award Applications. I enjoyed reading about your different activities and events. Please note that the Supreme Spirit Award isn’t due until February 16th and I encourage all Honored Queens to send in their application. Go to the Supreme Website (www.iojd.org) to download the form. Also thank you to all the Bethels who turned in the Make A Difference Award entries. The pages were beautiful and am very excited to be adding these to our promotional book for all others to enjoy. I hope all the newly installed Honored Queens have looked over the Spirit Award while preparing for their term. There was some confusion as to what Spirit Award Form to use. Please note that the new Spirit Award is the on the website and is the one that should be used. The correct version has a bonus section and my name as the contact person. Please use this one as some sections and point values have changed. Please note the following: The Spring Spirit Award, Make A Difference Award and the Achievement Award are now to be post-marked/date-stamped no later than June 1st, 2010 because of the Memorial Day holiday on May 31st. Although please try to get them in sooner than later as I will be leaving for my honeymoon on the 5th and want as much time as possible to review.
