Jobie Love, Posted Wednesday, 3/24/2010 (11:20 a.m.): This note comes from Mom Ginny Goede, SS 2011 Co-Chair, regarding help for fundraising: We are not near our goal to have enough funds to cover Supreme Session 2011. We have a sales table at Supreme Session and Mom Ginny Goede has come up with a cover to fit the new ritual books. She has the yarn and plastic canvas but does not have ample time to get them done by the end of July. If she could get enough volunteers, her goal would be 75 to 100 of these covers. Some would sell for $10.00 and some for $15.00. This could make us over $1,000.00 to add to our Fund. Anyone interested in helping or know someone who would be willing to help make these covers, please let her know….ggoede@charter.net …. Thanks…..Supreme Session 2011 Ways & Means Posted Tuesday, 3/23/2010 (7:10 p.m.): This note comes from Mom Joleyne Nelson, GG, regarding a calendar change: Hello Missouri Job's Daughters, I hope everyone is rested from Mini Session. Thanks, Posted Friday, 3/12/2010 (1:15 p.m.): This note refers to the recent Jeopardy TV Program. We received notifications from both Joleyne Nelson, GG and Nelda Kaeser, PGG: Free Publicity for Job's Daughters. It comes from Racheal Dobbins, PHQ Bethel #33, who was watching Jeopardy today (3/112010) and there was a question in women's group for 1,000 dollars that went "To join the group called his Daughters, Girls must be between the ages of 10 & 20 & be related to a Master Mason." The answer was "What is Job's Daughters." Her mom thought that was kind of cool to have a clue about Job's Daughters on Jeopardy. Plus no one got it on the show. Joleyne -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anybody watch Jeopardy on Thursday March 11?

Thank you, Posted Wednesday, 3/2/2010 (3:10 p.m.): This note comes from Mom Joleyne Nelson, GG, with further info on the State Officers Reception: Bethel Guardians - In the State Officers Reception flyer that was sent to the Bethel's it did indicate the dance was going to be in Dad Land Ballroom. Below is the information from the invitation. The invitation is also posted on the Other Masonic Events page. http://www.missouriiojd.org/SpecialEvents/OtherMasonicEvents.htm Ararat Temple has many activities going on at the same time as the dance, so we are requested to remain in the Dad Land Ballroom during the evening. Also, please come to Ararat Temple dressed accordingly as there will not be a place to change. Posted Wednesday, 3/3/2010 (3:05 p.m.): This note comes from Mom Stacy Hoogstraten, BG #7, with an addendum to her previous post: The radio station event Saturday night is completely separate and will be closed off from the rest of the Ararat Shrine Center. There will no problem at all with the State Officers" Reception. The DeMolay Knights have a great evening planned and hope everyone can be there. Posted Wednesday, 3/3/2010 (10:35 a.m.): This note comes from Mom Stacy Hoogstraten, BG #7, regarding the upcoming State Officers Reception: I was at Ararat for a meeting last night and received some information regarding Saturday night that may help those coming from outside KC. Ararat has several events at the Shrine Center Saturday night. The State Officer's Reception will be upstairs in the A/B Room, also know as the Frank S. Land Room. The large restroom downstairs that our daughters normally use as a dressing room will not be available. There is a smaller restroom outside the A/B Room, but it won't hold more than two-three girls at a time. The other issues will be parking - more events mean more cars, more cars mean less available parking; and security. The big event in Bennet Auditorium is sponsored by radio station Magic 107.3. This is an adult crowd and alcohol will be served. Posted Wednesday, 3/3/2010 (10:30 a.m.): This note comes from Mom Nancy Knarr, PGG-MO, with a prayer request: The Roseberry and Kazar family could use our prayers and good thoughts. Lynn Roseberry Kezar, a former Jobie from Bethel #49 is in critical condition at BJC and we are all praying for her recovery. Nancy Knarr Posted Tuesday, 3/2/2010 (11:40 a.m.): This note comes from Miss Kim Underwood, Grand Guide, with a reminder about Jobie Pride Day: Just a reminder that next Tuesday is Jobie Pride Day. Not only that, but it's Mother Mick's birthday! Help to celebrate by spreading the word of Job's Daughters and wearing a shirt or pin to school, work or just out and about. And just a side note, if anyone uses Twitter and follows Roger Ebert, he tweeted about Job's Daughters Sunday night, linking to a site showing the regalia and Lodge/Bethel rooms. I thought it was really cool and did a happy dance around the house for about 20 minutes after reading. It's just these little things that help show others about this awesome organization!
Have a great day!
