Louise Borchers Greenfield

Louise Borchers Greenfield, PHQ & Charter Member of Bethel #33 NKC, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2011. She served as Honored Queen of Bethel #33 in 1953. She was a teacher in Blue Springs School district and at various times had Job's Daughters as students.  She loved traveling the world, playing bridge, reading with her book clubs, scrapbooking and jigsaw puzzling.  Louise was past president of the American Association of University Women, the Knife and Fork Club and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was an active member of Independence Young Matrons.  The Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Independence, 500 West Truman Road, at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment  will be at Forest Hill Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.  The family suggests contributions be made to Special Olympics of Missouri, P.O. Box 947, Jefferson City, MO 65102 or First Baptist Church of Independence in Louise's memory.

Weldon Macke, Father of Mom Pam Johnson, MM and Guardian Secretary #60; Grandfather of Beth Johnson Biri, PHQ, MM, and Director of Music #60; and Father-in-Law of Dad Stan Johnson, PAGG, ABG #60, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012.  The Visitation was held on  Monday, January 9 at Ford and Sons Funeral Home, 1001 N. Mt. Auburn Road, Cape Girardeau  MO  63701-3455.  The Funeral was held on Tuesday, January 10 at Zion United Methodist Church, 3652 State Highway Z Cape Girardeau, MO 63701-9513.

Tommy D. Hall, beloved Grandfather (Dan-Dan) of Brianna Hall, PHQ and Recorder #47 & Brittany Hall, Marshal #47, and Father-in-law of Barb Hall, PHQ, Director of Epochs #47, passed away on Wednesday, January 4th, 2012. Tommy was a Past Worshipful Master and 50 year member, with membership in Lodges #1 and #156 in Lexington, Kentucky.

It has been reported to us that Frank Leonard passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011.  He was the father of Belinda Leonard Mitchell, PHQ #13 and Lisa Leonard Hennessy, PHQ #14.  The Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills. Masonic Services were held on that evening. The Funeral was held on Monday, December 12 at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Interment following at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington..

Ellen N. Fritz, the mother of Linda Monken, long-time Bethel Council Member of Bethel #47, and the Grandmother of Kim Monken, PHQ #47 and Cynthia Monken, PHQ #47, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011.  The Visitation was held on Sunday, December 11 at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road,  St. Louis  MO  63129.  The Funeral was held at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 12 at Kutis South County Chapel.  Interment followed at National Cemetery.  Contributions to the M.S. Society or the Arthritis Foundation appreciated.

Albert Morris Perkins

Passed into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Albert was a beloved father to Allen Perkins, Mark Perkins, Scott Perkins, Todd Perkins, Brent Perkins, Brian Perkins, & Kim Perkins-Ryan. Uncle to Rebecca Voirol, MM #46, Mary Williams, MM #46, and Dennis Perkins. Great Uncle to Amanda Voirol, PHQ, MM #32 and Rachel Voirol, MM #32. The Visitation was held at Fey Funeral Home on Lemay Ferry Road on Thursday, November 17.  The Funeral was held on Friday, November 18 at the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 6587 Telegraph Road, St. Louis, Missouri, with Interment following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Mr.  Perkins was a member of the Ironworkers local #396, worked on the construction of the Gateway Arch, was a 20 year veteran of the United States Navy and a 12 year veteran of the United States Army, having served on the USS Ticonderoga CVA 14.  Please keep the family in your prayers during this time.

Geraldine Viola (Geri) Lahay

Geraldine Viola (Geri) Lahay, the Aunt of Kathy Zitko, PHQ #12, Carolyn Garcia, PHQ #12 and Patty Fierst, PHQ #12, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 5, 2011, surrounded by family. Geri holds a special place in the hearts of those for whom she cared for greatly. She loved family and home most and spent extra time on her many hobbies: gourmet cooking, arts and crafts, reading, volunteering and of course shopping! Services: At Geri's request, neither a funeral nor a memorial service was held. We ask those in her life to hold onto precious memories and celebrate her life. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Geri.

Robert B. Leek

Robert B. Leek, Grandfather of Matt & Andie (Flanery) Moon, PHQ, PGBHQ, BG #33, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 22nd. Bob went to be with his Heavenly Father and his beloved wife Mary who passed 10 months earlier. A Memorial Visitation was held on Thursday, October 27, at Faith Presbyterian Church, 8301 James A. Reed Rd., Raytown, MO 64138. A Celebration of Bob’s Life was held on Friday, October 28 at the Church, with graveside services with military honors following at Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City. Memorial contributions may be made to R.E.A.P., 9300 E 75th St., Raytown, MO 64138 or Faith Presbyterian Church. Grandpa Bob will be missed very much. Thoughts and prayers to the Moon & Leek families would be welcomed and appreciated.

Brandon Michael Bays

Brandon Michael Bays, 15 of Festus, MO died Tuesday October 11, 2011. He was born June 25, 1996 in St. Louis, MO and was a student of DeSoto High School at the time of his death, but had also attended Farmington as well as Central Schools. Brandon was an active member of Memorial Chapter, Order of Demolay, and loved to hunt with his family. His future ambition was to join The United States Marine Corp.

He is survived by his mother Jammie Lee Farris; sisters, Brittney “Bitty” Bays and Alexis “Lexie” Westermayer; grandparents, Samuel E. Farris, Roxann Farris, Earl Jackson, and Sandra Jackson; several friends.

The Visitation was held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, MO Friday October 14. The Funeral followed at noon. Memorials can be made to the family at the US Bank in Leadington, MO.

Harvey J. Watt

Harvey J. Watt, the Grandfather of Jamie Miller, BG #29, and the Great Grandfather of Nachelle Miller, PHQ #29, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011.  He was born on February 2, 1931 in Pocassett, Oklahoma, and later moved to Adair, Missouri.  He married his first wife, Wanda Lou Durbin on May 28, 1950 and from their union came 7 children. Wanda preceded him in death in 1972. He married Mary Josephine Riddle on December 17, 1972. She had 3 children of her own then they had 2 children together. Harvey adopted Mary’s 3 children and Mary adopted his 7 children and together they raised their 12 children and were a very close, happy family.  Harvey worked as a farmer and rancher for many years and was a welder/fitter too. He and Mary were also insurance agents and owned an Oklahoma Farmers Union Agency in Adair.Harvey enjoyed several hobbies, but his favorite hobby was most definitely his family; spending time with his wife Mary, their kids and grandkids was always special to him. He also loved camping, hunting and fishing and reading western books.  He was known for being a very generous man, who would do anything he could to help those who needed it, whether it was his family and friends or complete strangers. He will be missed by all who knew him.  The Funeral was held on Wednesday, October 12 at the First United Methodist Church in Adair, Missouri.  Rev. Trish Harris officiated. Interment followed at Dawes Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Pryor.

Dorothy McDowell, the Grandmother of Dorene Sutton DeWald, PHQ #46, PBG #50 and Great Grandmother of Amanda Brown, PHQ #50, passed away on Tuesday September 20, 2011. She was a 50 year member of San Fernando Chapter, CA OES. The Visitation was be held on Saturday, September 24 at Baue Funeral Home, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles MO 63301-4419. The Funeral Service followed immediately.

Marvin K. "Moe" Kraft, The Husband for 48 years of Sharon Gansner Kraft, PHQ #21, PBG #54-MO passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2011.  Dear father of Lisa Kraft Mastorakos, PHQ #54, Kristen Kraft Russo, PHQ #54, Michael Kraft, Matthew Kraft and Mark Kraft.  The Visitation was held at Kutis in Affton on Sunday, August 14.  There was a Knights of Columbus Service that evening.   The Funeral Mass was be held at St. Catherine LaBoure on Monday, August 15, with Interment at Sunset Cemetery.

Anne L. Roseberry Bradley

Anne L. Roseberry Bradley, PHQ #3, sister of Lynn Roseberry Kezar, MM #49, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2011. The visitation was held at Buchholz Mortuary West, 2211 Clarkson Rd. Chesterfield  MO  63017 on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. The funeral was at the same location on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Anne appreciated the little things in life like Ted Drewes, tulips and books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Her passion for children grew from her work as a nanny and teacher.  The family would like to thank the staff at BJC's Neurology ICU for their care and compassion during this difficult and challenging time.  In honor of Anne’s devotion to children, memorial contributions may be made to Building Blocks Preschool, 327 Woods Mill Road, Ballwin  MO  63011. Anne had a great personality and big smile and will deeply missed by her many friends from Job's Daughters.

Mary Jane Robertson

Mary Jane Robertson, PHQ #12, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011. Mary Jane served for many years on Bethel #47's Council. She taught sixth grade at Windsor Middle School for over 30 years. She was teacher of the year 2010-2011. She founded the Safety Net program, working with the fire and police departments in Jefferson County. She was also an active member of the Corvette Club of South County. The Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28 at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road at Butler Hill Road, St. Louis MO 63129-1401. The Funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29 at St. John Lutheran Church, 3738 Morganford, St. Louis MO 63116-1615, with Interment to follow at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, 1925 Hwy M, Barnhart MO 63012-1253. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
